Welcome to the New HDRA Website

If you are reading this, the new HDRA website has officially launched.

At first glance, the site may look familiar—and that is intentional. Our goal was to keep everything you rely on while putting the association on a stronger, more flexible foundation for the future. In short: the same site, but better in every way.

What changed behind the scenes

We have moved the HDRA website from Wix to WordPress, the most widely used website platform in the world. This change allows the association to:

  • Reduce long-term hosting costs ($36 this year vs. $312 with Wix)
  • Avoid dependence on a single vendor
  • Make future updates easier and faster
  • Add new features over time as the association’s needs evolve

Just as important, WordPress makes it much easier for future volunteers or board members to maintain the site without specialized technical knowledge.

What did not change

  • Nothing was lost. All pages, documents, and images were preserved.
  • The website address is the same.
  • No action is required from members.

If you are seeing this page, the transition is complete.

What’s coming next

This new platform gives HDRA the ability to roll out improvements more easily. You can expect gradual enhancements and new features over time as we take advantage of the flexibility the new system provides.

Questions or feedback?

If you notice anything that doesn’t look quite right—or if you have suggestions—we’d like to hear from you.

Thank you for your continued support of the Historic Downtown Residents Association. We’re excited about what this upgrade makes possible going forward.
