On Wed., March 18, at Brewery 99, the board introduced a new feature-
Personalized, permanent, magnetic name tags.
Why??
- To encourage enhanced and easier to remember introductions, especially for new members
- Immediately identify you as a current, dues paid member.
- Facilitate check-in at functions that are ticketed and prepaid. Greeters may not necessarily know everyone by name.
- To easily identify members if an event is located at an establishment where HDRA members are not the only one’s present (e.g. Brewery 99)
- Street name is a suggested “ice breaker” to encourage conversation
- Maybe serve as “publicity” for HDRA
- No more write your own name on a sticky note
- Name tag can be easily corrected or updated
- No more safety pins poking holes in your clothes
AND !!, THEY ARE FREE
How to receive a name tag?
- Renew your membership making sure your dues have been paid.
- Names tags will be available gradually for pickup at upcoming events
